1. What are your hours of operation?
We are open every day from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.. If you require access to your items at the outdoor storage facility after 5:30 p.m. please call us and will arrange to meet you there. Self Storage is accessible 24/7, 365 days a year.
2. What security measures do you use?
Our clean, well-lit premises are monitored daily for activity. Self storage units come with locks or you can use your own lock. The outdoor storage area is fenced and locked each evening. If you require after-hour access, please feel free to contact us and we will make arrangements to meet you at the lot.
3. Can you help me determine how much space I will require?
At this time, we have 10’x25′ and 12×30′ feet self storage units. The 10′ units will easily store most smaller boats, sleds and quads or the contents of an average 3 bedroom home, while the 12′ units will comfortable store most sport and fishing boats, a small pontoon boat or the contents of a 4 bdrn home.
4. How do we reserve a storage unit or spot?
Most spaces units can be reserved by simply phoning us in advance. If we are short on units, we will call to ensure you are still coming before renting to someone else.
5. Is it necessary to sign a long-term lease?
Self storage tenants must sign a minimum one month rental agreement. Typically, people go on a month to month basis so you are not locked in for a specific period unless you choose to be. You can vacate the unit by giving one months notice. If you require long-term storage, clients are eligible for a two month reduction on a prepaid 12 month lease.
The lease agreement outlines the terms of the rental and is an important reference tool for both the business owner and the tenant as it outlines responsibilities and expectations for both parties. A PDF copy of the lease is attached below for your reference.
6. Do you offer any rental incentives for long-term and repeat customers?
Absolutely! If you rent a self storage unit for 12 months and pay the annual fee up front, you will get 2 months free rent. Indoor group storage customers receive free outdoor parking for boat trailers and ice shacks, etc. as well as “locked in” rates for the next season.
7. Can I transfer to a larger or smaller unit, after a few months?
Yes, if there is an available unit, you may arrange a move with us at your convenience. We realize that things change in our lives.
8. Do I need insurance?
Insurance is the tenants’ responsibility. Please check your homeowner’s or renter’s policy to ensure that your contents are covered while in storage. You can also purchase insurance from a company that specializes in self-storage insurance.
9. What methods of payment do you accept?
Cash, cheque and post-dates cheques are gladly accepted, we are working on at the time of rental for self storage and outdoor storage.
10. What should I keep in mind when storing boats, motor homes, and RVs?
Indoor and Outdoor Boat Storage
Keeping your boat in tip-top shape is easy when you use dry storage options. Indoor or outdoor boat storage keeps it out of the water and in a safe and secure location. You won’t have to worry about theft or damages that usually occur at a slip. Our indoor and outdoor boat storage solutions are for any size boat, jet-ski or PWC you own.

Storage Check List:
The following steps can be taken to protect your boat while in storage. Additionally, specific procedures recommended by the boat manufacturer should be closely considered.
- Prepare your engine in accordance with the owner’s manual. In winter, this will normally include draining and flushing the cooling system; draining and refilling the crankcase; applying oil to inside of each cylinder through the spark plug holes; and other preservative actions.
- Thoroughly clean the hull, decks, cockpit, bilge, all compartments, lockers and the exterior of engine, and coat with an appropriate wax or preservative.
- Drain fuel lines, pumps, carburetor and tanks or fill completely, and add fuel stabilizer.
- Leave all floorboards up, doors ajar, ports and skylights open, hatches partly open, drawers and lockers open.
- Carefully fit a well-made cover, provided with ventilation ports. If boat is to be stored outdoors, make sure there are no low spots in the cover that will hold rainwater.
- Place a cover over engine. Do not leave the engine exposed to the sun or rain.
- Don’t forget the trailer. Check tire pressure, and cover tires, if they will be exposed to the sun. Check and pack wheel hubs, if necessary, and lubricate jack.
- Finally, note dates of registration, tags, certificates and insurance, etc., and plan for renewal, if they expire during your storage term.

Storage Check List
- Review owner’s manual for engine, LP gas, generator, water heater and sanitation system storage tips.
- Remove all perishable food from cabinets.
- Turn off refrigerator. Verify all power sources are off by checking 12 volt, 110 volt and LP gas.
- Remove all food from the refrigerator. Clean the inside, and leave the door open to ventilate
- .Clean rooftop and air conditioner filters, and cover the outside unit.
- Clean the interior of the RV. Pull shades, and close blinds.
- Turn off the propane cylinders, and cover the regulator.
- Cover or tape vents to the furnace and range hood for long-term storage.
- Ensure all roof vents and windows are closed. Prevent condensation if necessary by using chemical-type dehumidifiers.
- Check tire pressure, and cover the tires, if they will be exposed to the sun.
- Inspect roof, body, interior, soft molding and caulking.
- Service locks with spray lubricant to prevent rust and freezing.
- Remove batteries. Store batteries in an area not subject to freezing, and test them periodically. Charge if necessary.
- In motor homes, check all operating fluid levels under the hood, and top off the gasoline tank. Add a fuel stabilizer.
- Empty and thoroughly rinse all holding tanks. In winter, all water tanks, lines and pumps should be drained and filled with non-toxic RV antifreeze to keep any remaining water from freezing the system. Never use automobile antifreeze of any kind in your water system!
